ELDER PHYSIOLOGY — ALWAYS ACTIVE▾
  • In tune with the latent powers of The Contest, Carina has a Fractured Power Bar.
  • As an Elder of the Universe, Carina possesses a near immortal body. This causes her to gain a Regeneration Buff every time she loses 20% of her Max Health, healing 10% of Max Health over 10 seconds. Each Health threshold only triggers once per fight.
  • Carina starts each fight with a 3% Safeguard Buff for 3 seconds that starts paused until she's struck, and is removed if the Opponent activates a Special Attack 3.
GROWING POWER▾
  • Carina’s Power Gain Buffs grant 0.3% of Max Power over 5 seconds. They expire one at a time and are refreshed when gaining a new one. Max stacks: 20.
  • Carina’s first landed Light Attack in a combo grants her 2 Power Gain Buffs. When she whiffs a Basic Attack or attacks the Opponent during their Special Attack, she gains 1 Power Gain Buff.
GROWING BEYOND▾
  • Overstacking Carina’s Power Gains grants stackable indefinite Unblockable Buffs. Striking the Opponent consumes one of these Unblockables to inflict a 300 Armor Break Debuff for 2 seconds.
  • At 10+ Unblockable Buffs, activating a Special Attack grants Carina a non-stacking +2171.6 Myriad Buff for 12 seconds.
SOUL OF THE CONTEST — MAX: 8▾
  • The first time in each fight Carina gains her Myriad Buff, she gains a Persistent ISO-8 Shard. She also gains a Shard each time the Opponent reaches 1% Health.
  • Each Persistent ISO-8 Shard increases the base potency and duration of Carina’s personal Debuffs by 12.5% for the rest of the Quest.
SPECIAL ATTACK 1▾
  • On activation, Carina gains 3 Amplify Buffs. One has 200% potency and lasts 3 seconds, one has 100% potency and lasts 6 seconds, and one has 50% potency and lasts 12 seconds.
  • Each of the four hits grant Carina 3 personal Power Gain Buffs.
  • This Special Attack has a 0.5 second cooldown.
SPECIAL ATTACK 2▾
  • The final 4 hits each inflict a 10858 Corrosion Debuff for 40 seconds. Max stacks: 8. As a Defender, these scale with Base Attack only.
SPECIAL ATTACK 3▾
  • Immediately on activation, Carina gains 10 personal Power Gain Buffs and regains her Safeguard Buff if it is not active.
  • Carina gains stackable True Damage, Zeal, and Instinct Buffs, 10% Energize, Rejuvenate, and Aptitude Buffs, and +675 Armor Up and Precision Buffs, all for 12 seconds.
